Spring 2024 Youth Programs

Spring 2024 YOUTH PROGRAMS

Click on the + to see program descriptions. Group rates are $16/hour. No classes President’s Day (Feb 19), Spring Break (March 10-16), or Easter (March 31). Registration deadline Feb 1.

 

K-12TH BEGINNER/ADVANCED BEGINNER RECREATIONAL PLAYERS:

  • Learn fundamental tennis skills for hand-eye coordination, tracking, footwork, groundstrokes, volleys, and serves. Clinics are game based to develop a love of the game, are focused on fun. Students grouped on separate courts by age and/or ability to allow small group instruction and progression to the next level as needed.

  • For 6th-12th grade students who are new to the game, or returning players still developing fundamentals to prepare for and improve recreational or competitive experience. Bronze level ACT players welcome. Short periods of large group instruction for review of fundamental form and footwork, break out small group instruction across multiple courts with small ratios, plus point play and a game based approach makes this the perfect first or next step for your emerging, recreational, or aspiring competitive middle and high school athletes!

  • For 6th-12th grade students who are new to the game, or returning players still developing fundamentals to prepare for and improve recreational or competitive experience.   • Students 6th-12th must have completed a session of clinics, camp, a season on a school team, or be in private lessons to participate. Younger skilled students allowed with coach recommendation. Put your fundamental skills to work! A coach works on every court with 4 players each to reinforce rules of the game, practice doubles strategy, court positioning, shot selection, and get match play experience. This program is available for beginners needing coach toss serves, or for independent servers improving rally skills. All matches arranged against similar skill level.

 

6th-12th INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED pLAYERS:

  • Advanced skill development, strategy, and fundamental reinforcement. High school and gold, silver, or bronze middle school team members with competitive match experience. Courts grouped by skill level.

Drop-In Clinics/Private Lessons
